Michelle Mockbee was bludgeoned to death.
Then she was covered in plastic.
This murder took place where she worked, at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Who killed her? What was the motivation?
The Jury convicted the janitor, David Dooley, of Michelle’s murder.
It was alleged that Dooley was stealing money from the company by clocking more hours than he’d actually been working, and that Michelle either found out, or was about to.
So she had to die.
But then two scandals emerged that tainted the verdict: a sexual relationship between the DA and the lead detective that wasn’t disclosed and new evidence that wasn’t presented at trial.
Which leaves many wondering, was Dooley unfairly convicted or did the Jury ultimately get this one right?
