This Guy Comes FACE to FACE with His Identity Thief

And naturally, we over at CRIME WATCH DAILY helped organize this unscheduled meeting.

Identity thieves destroy their victims’ financial credit and mount them with piles of debt, but this victim’s story was exceedingly more horrifying: His identity thief got him registered as a sex offender!

I gotta admit, Dan Wheeler, the victim in this case, handled the situation better than I probably would if I were branded a sex offender because of an identity scheme and had my life upended as a result.

Fun fact on this story: Our camera stopped working literally minutes before we were ready to hop out of our cars to film this unscheduled interview. We didn’t have the time to get the equipment fixed, so we pulled out our phones instead and filmed the entire exchange with those devices only.
