Bre was almost stabbed to death as she fought off a violent intruder, protecting her younger sister, Kayli, from the vicious attack.
But Bre had enough strength in her to maintain the struggle until one of Salt Lake City’s finest burst through the basement door and shot the perp in the head, literally seconds before he was going to slit Bre’s throat.
Bre and Kayli’s story is both horrifying and inspirational — horrifying that anyone would have to endure such a bloody assault, but inspirational in how these two sisters, against all odds, fought for their lives, and came out on top.
